About Anatolia Fest

Toronto’s celebration of Turkish heritage

Anatolia Fest began as a dream to bring the colours, flavours and stories of Türkiye to Toronto — a day of culture, art and taste, open to everyone, in the heart of the city.

Our story

From a dream to three editions

Our first festival, in 2016, and our second, in 2017, created unforgettable memories and brought our community together around art, culture and taste.

After many years, Anatolia Fest returned on September 20, 2026, at Sankofa Square for its long-awaited 3rd Edition. The comeback was more than a festival: a reunion, a celebration of heritage, and a bridge reconnecting our community with the traditions we love.

From Turkish coffee and baklava to music, crafts and regional art forms, Anatolia Fest invites you to rediscover the beauty of Turkish culture in an inspiring and welcoming atmosphere.

Sankofa Square filled with visitors, red market umbrellas and the Yonge Street billboards behind.

The square

The same square, a new name

In 2016 and 2017, the festival filled Dundas & Yonge Square, at the crossroads of Toronto’s Yonge and Dundas streets. Anatolia Fest came back in 2026 to the same square, now called Sankofa Square — the heart of downtown Toronto.
